Not created equal. Phone Modem and Wireless are two entirely different ways of sending messages to your LED Display from your PC.

Phone Modem and Wireless are two entirely different ways of sending messages to your LED Display from your PC.

Phone Modem Transmission
is sending the message through your phone line to the LED Display which is connected to a dedicated phone line. A dedicated phone line is required at the LED Display and this will incur a monthly phone bill for this line, which averages around $25/mo.

Wireless Transmission
is sending the message through a radio transmitter connected to your PC via the serial port (or ethernet port) to the radio transmitter in the LED Display. No phone line is required which means no phone bill. Wireless transmission is standard on all of AdsLED's equipment. It is secure with our own Vendor ID#, which means no outside radio can communicate with it.
